Black, Asian, and Indigenous x LGBTQIA+ Community

This day will celebrate diverse sexualities, gender identities, cultures, gender expressions and backgrounds and we foster, represent and celebrate LGBTQI+ Black and POC culture through education, the arts, cultural events and advocacy. Key topics to be discussed include: - Saba Ali, Trustee for Building Bridges for Peace and Community Ambassador for The Vavengers who work to end FGM and other forms of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) - Laks Mann MBE, Creative Strategist and DEI expert, winner of the UK's Top 100 Influential People 2025, and LGBT+ Trailblazer 2024 at the British LGBTQIA+ Awards - Rick Dove, Hammer & Tongue UK Poetry Slam Champion 2021 and published author of collections including Tales From the Other Box and Supervillain Origin Story - Priscilla Eylesd, Trustee of DDPO Camden Disability Action, co-producer of systemic solutions to workplace barriers for neurodivergent and multiply marginalised communities See more information about all speakers in the Speakers section.
